Black Tea

Brew at boiling for 3-5 minutes.

  • Made from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis.

    • Two varieties, ​sinensis and assamica.

  • Highly oxidized.

  • One typical cup has about 47 mg of caffeine. (Coffee typically has 95 mg)

  • Tends to be strong, earthy, nutty, and dark.

Green Tea

Brew at 150F/40.5C-180F/82 for 1-3 minutes.

  • Made from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis.

    • Two varieties, ​sinensis and assamica.

  • Slightly oxidized

  • One typical cup has about 20 mg of caffeine. (Coffee typically has 95 mg)

  • Tends to be very vegetal, grassy, fruity and sweet if brewed correctly.

  • Easy to over-brew, in that case it becomes bitter and dries out the mouth.

Chunmee Green

White Tea

Brew at 170F/40.5C for 1-5 minutes.

  • Made from the tea plant, Camellia sinensis.

    • Two varieties, ​sinensis and assamica.

  • Not oxidized, young buds.

  • One cup has 6-55 mg of caffeine. (Coffee typically has 95 mg)

  • Tends to be very delicate and floral.

  • Easy to over-brew.
